My kids are big fans of potatoes! If it’s up to them, they will have potatoes 3 times a day, and I’m not kidding! I try to make them happy with a healthy and good dish from time to another! Check out this skillet potatoes!
You’ll Need:
2 large russet potatoes cut into 1inch cubes.
14 oz thinly sliced smoked sausage.
1 small chopped onion.
½ cpu of chopped bell pepper.
1 clove of minced garlic.
¼ cup of chicken stock.
1 ½ tsps of paprika.
¼ tsp of each salt and pepper.
¼ tsp of dried parsley.
2 tbsps of vegetable oil.
How to:
Heat the oil in a large skillet and cook the smoked sausage while turning to brown evenly.
Set the meat aside and cook the potatoes in the same skillet over medium high heat until brown and tender.
Add in the onions, pepper and garlic and cook for 5 minutes. Pour in the chicken stock and cook covered for 5 to 6 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Once the potatoes are done, season with the spices and add in the sausage.
Bonne Appétit!
Simple, easy and delicious! Feel free to add vegetables you like, it will still taste good! I usually make this with ham as I don’t like sausage so much. Give this a try, and let me know what you think.
